Argentinian blend that absolutely rocked. Second pallet not as intense as that first swirl; but I’m thinking I found my next good everyday $20 wine... Maybe $17... Italian place in Miami had it on the menu for $55... — 9 years ago

With Ralf and Lara in Mexico City brought from Miami. Red fruit , cherry cinnamon smooth tannins. No tobacco. Rose petals. Absolutely delicious. Wine of the trip. 1 more bottle drink next 3-4. 2005 barolos drinking awesome. — 5 years ago
Drank 1/18/19 at the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux event in Miami. All wines from the 2016 Vintage.
Tasting pour, no formal notes taken. Most of these wines are very tight, and will require 5-15 years to really come together. Many will likely improve a few points with time. — 7 years ago

We had it a Lucali, a pizza restaurant in Miami. Medium dark rubi robe, nose of spices and black fruits. Medium bodied, fresh and with civilised tannins. Good stuff for the price and worked wonders with the excellent pizza. — a year ago

The most closed wine of the night. More red fruit, with frim tannins. This one will likely take several years to unwind, but shows potential. Harder to taste at this stage. — 7 years ago

Etna Rosso is hard to find in Miami. Glad to have this. Delicious. — 9 years ago
Tasted 1/20/2017 At UGCB 2014 Vintage tasting in Miami. At the Biltmore.
Deep, impressive nose of cassis, pencil lead, and toasted cedar wood. Rich palate of black fruits with medium, already well-integrated tannins. Long finish. At this stage tastes more impressive than the Leoville Barton. WOTN for me. Great now, but will likely improve with some time in bottle.
