Fun bubbles and mild stone fruit flowers and Meyer lemon — 2 days ago
Bright, translucent, fruit forward yet with the unmistakable Ahr light touch.
Bright, crunchy cherry with some darker accents, herby undergrowth, a touch of anise & orange zest, a whiff of milk chocolate. Highly inviting.
Fresh, sappy, pure and with great flow on the palate. Crunchy tannins, very juicy cherry acidity, and uplifting mineral finish.
Nothing overly complex or profound yet so delicious. Beats most Villages Bourgognes, at a fraction of the price.

A nice surprise! Aromas of honey, floral, and pear. Taste of butter and pear with just a very slight sweetness. Smooth and velvety. — 15 days ago

Slightly denser & darker vs the ‘normal’ Spätburgunder... still very fresh & pure yet the cherry gets darker and some darker berries appear and whiff of mushroom. Beautiful mouthfeel, juicy, velvety tannins, the wood showing a nice backdrop against the purity of fruit, the minerality of slate shining through, a touch of dark chocolate & coffee inter finish.
This has flow, this has depth, not sure though if, at this point in time, it justifies the +50% in price vs the normal Pinot.
A truly lovely wine, nonetheless! — 6 days ago
