This was a very nice bottle of Meruzzano from a Co-op. It reminded me of a village Bourgogne. Marty brought this to the Cinco de Mayo dinner with Cartmell family. Went great with the crazy good food. — 7 months ago

Outstanding! Nose is inviting and gorgeous. One of those, this is going to be good moments. It delivers. Blue and black fruit, a little black licorice ends with pepper. Fruit is dense and pure. Tannins are smooth and end things nicely. It’s big and bold. The style is a little different, but all in a really great way. Saving next bottle for when @Jason and Jennie does a stint at Mayo and visits. — 7 months ago
Happy Cinco De Mayo 2019.....wwwaaahhh, a wine break.....Tom's PERFECT margarita:
1.5 oz. 100% agave Reposado Tequila
1.0 oz. Fresh squeezed lime juice
0.5 oz. Agave nectar

Shake with ice, serve over ice (no frozen BS!) and do not forget to enjoy! — 7 months ago
Victory Zin. For the day and I dunno life. I’m amazed by older Zins because (of the ones I’ve tasted) you can tell they are not supes frosh but also you’d have no idea they were so aged. Well the sediment might alert you but that doesn’t come until the end of the bottle. Autumn leaves, roasty plums, black cherry, grippy but ripe tannins and baking spice of the nutmeg and mace sort. I love Zin. This one confirms my love. — 2 months ago

This 13 year old Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon is very tasty. Showing black fruits with earth, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices, leather, wet leaves and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Tangy long finish with round tannins.
The nose is showing its age, not too much on the palate. Shows great complexity and mouthfeel.
This Single Vineyard is good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows the big tannins (1 hour).
Still has a lot of power in it for at least another 5 years.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
91 points. — 9 months ago
