With a four hour decant this 2001 Rousseau Chambertin was ethereally light with a good finish but not as complex or the signature sappy fruit associated with Rousseau. A good wine not great. Next time will use a two hour decant — 5 days ago
100% old vine (115-130 years old) Carignan from Corbieres, mostly redfruits, fresh and lively, great acidity, long finish, terrific example of how good low alcohol (12.5%) Carignan can be!! — 3 months ago
