Depends on the producer. My Enderle & Molls Buntsandstein & Muschelkalk are fine going back to 2009. I anticipate they will do 20 years with ease.

The more plush and fruit forward ones should likely be drunk younger. The cranberry / cherry fruited / high acid wines should last. E&M, von der Mark, Achim Durr.

Earthy, a bit dusty, light just ripe pinot fruit, some va, seemed a bit basic at first but that impression changed. This opened up to be a balanced, crisp, delicate, juicy and refreshing wine over 4 days in the fridge. — 4 years ago
