Blend of Mandilaria and Mavro Aidani
Intense fresh sour black cherries, pomegranate juice, a whiff of black pepper, allspice.
On the palate this is fresh, with vibrant acidity and nice, juicy acidity.
This is on the leaner, fresher side with sour cherries galore… worked v. nicely with some grilled pork chops. — 5 years ago

Wow! Great smooth, complex wine. Not familiar with the grapes but like well aged Pinot. — 9 months ago
Light and crisp rose. Perfect for seafood in the Cyclades. 🇬🇷 — a year ago
Popped and poured; no formal notes. 100% Mandilari from the Plakoura vineyard on Crete. It has seen a mix of new and used oak; French and American. This was really lovely after about 30min of air. Though darker complected, this is mid-weight red with lovely freshness. Bright plums and bramble fruits with some dry stony earth, dried herbs and a strong spine of minerals. Tannins are medium; acid is medium+. Long finish. This rocked with my traditional meal of goat prepared in “staka” (which made it unbelievably tender) with potatoes. — 3 years ago

Dark fruit, earthy and mineral with saline freshness and unusually light body but with significant tannin. Delicious! — 6 years ago
Rich oak and cedar aromas with cedar sweet tobacco and oak drenched red fruit with an aged quality finish Uber smooth and packed with currants and light baking spice - sundried grapes add a bit of oxygenation similar to Vin Santo with nutty character — 8 years ago

juicy & zippy and quite fantastic — 4 years ago
This was a delicious summer red served just a few degrees above cellar temperature. And it’s a very bright red thanks to only one day of maceration on the skins. Yet it still had some tannins and nice depths of aromas and flavors. — 4 years ago
Dark & inky, intense blackberry, long tannic finish. Big bold wine — 5 years ago

We bought this rose at the organic and biodynamic Vioma Winery in Mykonos, Greece. This wine is coppery salmon in color. The nose has nectarine and floral notes. The palate has peaches and nectarines, with a bit of acidity to give it balance. — 8 months ago
