Popped and poured; no formal notes. 100% Mandilari from the Plakoura vineyard on Crete. It has seen a mix of new and used oak; French and American. This was really lovely after about 30min of air. Though darker complected, this is mid-weight red with lovely freshness. Bright plums and bramble fruits with some dry stony earth, dried herbs and a strong spine of minerals. Tannins are medium; acid is medium+. Long finish. This rocked with my traditional meal of goat prepared in “staka” (which made it unbelievably tender) with potatoes. — 2 years ago
This was a delicious summer red served just a few degrees above cellar temperature. And it’s a very bright red thanks to only one day of maceration on the skins. Yet it still had some tannins and nice depths of aromas and flavors. — 3 years ago

Wow! Great smooth, complex wine. Not familiar with the grapes but like well aged Pinot. — 13 days ago
