N: Cherry chocolate pie with freshly tilled dirt, even black river rocks underneath. It has that faint hint at soil mixing with sweet. Even tarry.
P: med-light weight , black then purple fruits. Just tugging at your cheeks.

Tides the line (rides?) between picnic and serious fare. Less fruity on the palate than on the nose.,A nice thing.

Drank at Rucola in cobble hill. Lovely round stone fruit butterscotch but subtle. 2011 they charged $37 for the bottle, $17 for the glass. Chenin blanc. Dessert wine but not too sweet. — 5 years ago
Deep dark nose of bloody cornas, wow what a nose, juicy and sleek and clear. lovely, slippery red fruits and wonderful texture and opulence for a 21. So silky. Great purity and sap. Great minerals and inner mouth aromas and sicko depth. Fantastic. 9.6. Wow wow wow. So bright and energetic. Amazing length. what a mineral nose, really elegant and red fruited. Good ripe tannins. Nice tension, fresh open knit in generous crushed red cherries, pomegranate & some smoky paprika notes. Paired with simply prepared roast salmon with finely chopped celery & onion. That tension energy is what stayed w me though. — a month ago
