Perfectly balanced white blend! Not too sweet, tart, acidic, etc. Would be a total crowd pleaser, and would repurchase — 6 years ago
This wine was opulent, elegant, and simply spectacular. Milk chocolate, black cherries, and cassis. If you are lucky enough to have a bottle, you are in for a treat. — 7 years ago
Ate leftovers from Dry Creek Kitchen dinner on 5/28/19 in our room (16) at Farmhouse Inn. Lamb chops, kale salad, mushrooms, pasta salad, and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. All delicious. Wine perfect pairing. — 7 years ago

I have been drinking this for years and each year it has different notes. Great wine, great buy. — 5 years ago
@Joe Lucca was gracious to set up a virtual tasting for the Wine Nerd Herd with the team from Texture. It was a great evening. The 16 Lucky Well spent over two hours in the decanter-it needed more time. Tightly wound wine that need time to uncoil. Striking texturally with high acid and touches of oak on the finish. I found the almond paste and orchard fruit profiles very pleasing. I taste the attention to detail in this wine. — 6 years ago
Dan was being very curmudgeonly as he could taste butterscotch in this wine. I say he was right. I'd ALSO say I'll take every last bottle of this he has left and will even volunteer to take them away personally! Poured a medium amber color. Notes of butter and herb om the nose. Entry is overripe stone ground fruits with a nice weighted base. Butterscotch in front and middle but trails away in the finish where this wine just kind of dances more with a tarragon and peach kind of note. The only white I dared to try with the braised pork and pickled peppers. Although neither was a perfect complement, I was shocked at how this one definitely didn't run away! A true Marcassin! If you have these, I think I'd drink now. — 7 years ago
A 25 year old gem pulled by Joel Peterson himself. I was one of the lucky ones to snag a mixed case of his cellar selections from 1991-2013 for BD16. Still going strong with such incredibile fruit. Gonna share them of course but sneak a Coravin taste here and there … — a year ago

Deep Ruby with concentrated aromas of ripe black fruits and earthy floral spice. The palate shows rich blackberry and tart raspberry, complex, good acidity, balance and depth with ultra-smooth tannins. The long finish ended with an earthy and woody spice, cacao, and mushroom, very smooth. I am guessing that this wine is at its peak, so if you are lucky enough to find a bottle, get the corkscrew! — 6 years ago
Very good, easy to drink. Full body and fruity — 6 years ago
Confluence Tandem Weekend. Easy table wine, slightly sweet — 7 years ago
Tasted blind chez Roulot, and of course it is an 04. Vibrant acidity, unfurling now past a tight reduction into an open, maturing mix of rich citrus, tea, spice, stone. Lovely and lucky — 8 years ago

2021. This wine caused the most discussion during our dinner. Complex dark fruits, leather, and blood aromas did open up a bit and it paired better with some of the lamb dishes than others. — 2 months ago
