2 hour decant(decent chunky sediment). A stunning dark crimson color with little bricking. On the nose: expressive perfumed notes of dark red fruit, creme de cassis, mushrooms, floral, touch of stewed meat and cigar box. Taste: velvety, classy, fresh wine with red fruit, minerals, herbal, earth, pencil lead and a nice peppery cedar/leather medium plus finish. Sure, maybe not the depth/concentration of a classic vintage, but I can sniff/sip this wine all night. YUM! Happy Father's day to me. — 9 days ago
Just stunning. Incredible concentration of tiny red fruit tightly wound violets and the smallest hint of barnyard. On the palate a shocking combination of concentration and over the top acidity that tingles and lingers — 4 days ago
Deep ruby . Quite deep and restrained cassis and blackberry, grafite , cedar and spice. On the palate very good definition and balance with ripe cassis , blackcurrant and dark cherry , grafite and cedar, mineral , oyster shell undertones . Ample tannin and richness but with good fresh acidity , and good length, balanced alcohol, complex and vibrant . Very young still, though the ripeness and roundness of the tannin helps to give an enjoyable drinking experience. I would prefer to come back in 5-8 years and will last well a further 10 -15. For a ‘second’ wine this really well done. — 14 days ago
I personally saved this wine from my cellar. It’s the year I was married. It’s as fresh as when I purchased it. Deep purple color. Smooth as silk. No aftertaste. Wonderful earthy tastes. Some plums. Just wonderful. — 3 hours ago
