A gift from a restaurateur friend, for helping him make limoncello. A beautiful wine with seared scallops and baby bok choy. — 5 years ago
Lemon yellow coloration. Limoncello nose. On the palate citrus, lemon and honey. Smooth. Light acidity. Nicely balanced. — 7 years ago
Needs a day or very thorough decanting to show best. Sour cherry, berry stem and a touch of Indian spices on the nose. Sour, almost limoncello like initially on the tongue, followed by stone fruit and a touch of rosemary. The limoncello and rosemary give it a sense of heat, although it's only 13.5abv. This is chorizo and olives' natural tango partner. — 8 years ago

Happy Boxing Day 2022 from 🇭🇰! Ok. Bottle is done. Meal is complete. Honest review to follow. One — this wine. Serve this to anyone and they will be thrilled with its drink ability and balance coupled with depth and refinement. It’s Brunello de Montalcino’s finest (according to Sr and Sra Martinez). While service was a bit slow — where were we to go? Nowhere other than to people watch and enjoy the show. Technically it’s still alba truffle season; one tagliatelle order later (don’t ask the price); so happy. A dual of meat dishes: delightful (though don’t leave Danny alone w pomme purée) — but at the end of the day, it is the desserts that reign supreme. The sgroppino! The soufflé! Pannetone with mascarpone cream! The box of chocolates and truffles (and a side of limoncello). Visit at Christmas, we insist. This was a lovely visit at a staple favorite. 5 stars! — 4 years ago
Light bright and full of life. Same flavour profile as brunello but fresh. Great with pizza. At Limoncello — 4 years ago
Bright ripe with a tang that reaches the way back sides of your tongue.
Smells of greens and yellows - Smokey green herbs and sliced yellow starfruit.
Has a fleshy, creamy texture sitting under sour tropical fruits - tastes like key lime pie and mango sorbet and candied Limoncello. — 5 years ago
Fun! Served in shot glass — 6 years ago
Perfect crown! Garden of the gods lacing. Bone colored number, and what structure! Moves like chef’s foam. Dark, bronze-golden body. Orange, peach, cherry and pear blossoms in an arboreal array. Lacing morphing erratically into tropical vines. Warm apple pastry, limoncello, sliced bing cherry, golden beets, and a raisinate grape with honey cake, in an elegant botanical park of aromas. The beer is nothing like this, it is deep and creamy, exhibiting Sauternes barrel richness, Saigon cinnamon, shiitake, maple nut, chocolate pods, pecans, nutmeg, dark caramel, dark honey wheat bread with aspirations to rye. Including a near-caraway. Light coffee notes throughout, conversely tea with a honey spoon.. This is a dichotomy. But an interesting one worth exploring. — 7 years ago
Part of a dessert cocktail with limoncello. — 3 years ago
Bright, citrus. Like lemonade with less sugar and not as potent alcohol as limoncello. Perfect for refreshing — 4 years ago
The best limoncello. — 4 years ago

Aromas of strawberries and lemon, rich and zesty on palate, with notes of limoncello, vanilla, medium acidity, medium body. — 6 years ago
Pineapple, citrus rind, and traces of mint on the nose. Tropical fruit and limoncello top notes; honey and apples, a clean smooth finish. An easy aperitif, and has the easy-going, pre-dinner character many chardonnays try to clobber their way to. — 7 years ago

1997 vintage. Last tasted 9.4.25 (9.2). This time, tasted with @Pinotman /// Andreas. Nice fill and good cork (no Durand needed). Light-medium body. 12% ABV. Some lighter, barely-sweet petrol flavor but limoncello impressions started to take the stage and sing like the headliner. Really intriguing and fascinating as a “dry” Auslese. Should be able to perform at this clip for another 4-5 years. No April Fools joke here. 5 bottles left at $80 a pop. 4.1.26. — 3 months ago
