Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Intriguing & unique Cab. Spicy red fruit in the nose & through the palate. This yields some smoky/spicy notes on the mid palate & through the finish. Plenty of tannic structure persisting here. Under appreciated producer outside of Washington. Very nice bottle of Cabernet. — 4 years ago

Took some time to open up but became delicious. Lots of fruit but not sweet. The splash of viognier softened the Syrah a bit. — a month ago

Dark fruit, cherries, anise, and tobacco on the nose. Very dry wine. Dried fig, vanilla, more dark fruits, more cherry, and chocolate. Long finish of leather and oak. Drink now. Decant for an hour. — 4 years ago
