Dark cherry and a touch of Brett on the nose. Red berry and black fruit flavors with notes of earth, licorice and spices. Relatively light bodied with roaring acidity. There is a sour note on the very long finish that does lessen with some aeration. — 5 years ago

Bought at the Domaine in Porticcio. On the nose, almost Pinot-like in its flowers and red fruit. In the mouth, some cherries, rose hips and spice. Some tannins and good acidity. Slight heat on the back end. — 7 years ago

Beautiful medium dark rubi robe. Delicate nose of crushed flowers, red berries and spices. Fresh and balanced mouth between the very polished tannins, the rose fanee and the spices.
