Berry medley, dark chocolate, some herb spice like coconut and vanilla bean, bit of char and oak spice, hint of geranium on the nose. Baked ripe summer berries, light brewed black tea, cocoa powder, lingering soft chalky tannins. Best after a day opened in the fridge, overall a wonderful value. — a month ago
I had this before but this time, didn’t enjoy it quite as much. Went to throw away the bottle and had one more taste, and the wine pulled me back in a bit more. I don’t know why. — 2 months ago
The 2020 Cotes du Crow’s is a Grenache/Syrah-based blend with touches of Mourvèdre and Tempranillo that add complexity. Red cherry, tobacco and dried herb hints open nicely. This bright, floral, mid-weight red offers plenty of charm. Drink it over the next handful of years. $22.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, January 2024) — 3 months ago
