A really good Merlot blend. — 17 days ago
We were drinking classic wines from classic vintages on this particular night and this fit the bill nicely. This wine (not the ‘05) was one of the first Bdx I ever tried early in my wine drinking career. This particular bottle was as textbook as they come — 4 months ago
Medium deep ruby, quite narrow ruby pink rim . Dark creme de cassis , blackberry , with earthy , mineral , grafite touches , quite inviting and open , though still classic in style . On the palate more cassis , grafite , blackberry , quite juicy and round , but with balanced acidity and alcohol , rounded but noticeable tannins . Ok length . Drinking well now and will age well over the next 5-10 years — 2 hours ago

Deep ruby in color; smoke, cigar box, and black cherries on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like hibiscus, cherries, plums, and a little eucalyptus with a long finish. I didn't think I would like this wine based on the aromas, but I am really enjoying it. — 2 days ago
