La Fonti A San Giorgio

San Giorgio

Ugolforte Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2020

This was absolutely delightful on day one, day two, and day three. On pop and pour the aroma was pleasant and on the palate it was so well balanced and full bodied it just made me happy all three days. I didn’t want to spoil the experience with analyzing the flavor components. Let’s just say it represented Brunello very well and held up strong over all three days. I’m a new fan of this producer. — 2 days ago

Az. Agri. Cordero San Giorgio

Exergia Moscato d'Asti 2023

Light, crisp, a bit fizzy, but not too sweet, orange and pear accents, which makes it easy to pair with tarts and semi-sweet deserts. Nice way to end a meal. — 2 months ago

Vernaccia di San Gimignano

St. Giorgio Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG 2023
From the historic Catellani family, who have been cultivating Tuscan soils since the late 1800s, this Vernaccia reflects both tradition and thoughtful innovation. Part of the S. Giorgio Collection, it offers a clean, elegant aromatic profile with the kind of quiet charm that defines central Tuscan whites.

Lightly crushed and fermented at cool temperatures to preserve its fragrance, the wine opens with delicate fruit tones ofpear, citrus, and soft orchard notes, that gracefully evolve into a subtle mineral finish.

On the palate, it’s dry and harmonious with a classic Vernaccia almond note on the close, balanced and refreshing without overstaying its welcome. Whether paired with fish, simple veggie dishes, or enjoyed solo, this is a graceful, easy-to-love white that speaks to place and care. Simply lovely. Cheers!

Umani Ronchi

Campo San Giorgio Rosso Conero Riserva Montepulciano 2013

Revelatory Montepulciano with Italian essence but Bordeaux character. Medium bodied with earthy fruit and restrained tannins, combined with notes of leather and cedar box and a hint of soy sauce. Mouthwatering food wine; the 2013 vintage is definitely ready to enjoy now. First glass was at Mother Wolf in LA (date night with Dreama) and most recently a bottle at home with my own beef stroganoff on a Sunday night. What a way to top off the weekend! — 21 days ago
