Inky purple opaque, medium body, jammy blackberries and nice tannins, great mouthfeel and well balanced — 3 months ago
I think this is the best release of this wine I’ve had. LC22. It’s excellent tonight layered with ripe orchard fruit, gun smoke, salted hazelnuts and exotic spices. The palate is structured and concentrated with a satiny texture and vibrant energy giving way to a saline and mineral laced finale. Delicious! — 9 months ago
Solid, smooth, good value. — 4 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2008 pours a garnet color with a translucent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some fine sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of cassis, kirsch, green bell pepper, graphite, dried purple flowers, earth and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium and sanguine. Old school Bordeaux and delicious. Drink now through 2038. — 22 days ago
