Puzzled. Yet impressed.
The bottle I had 5 years ago was (and still is) the best dry Riesling I ever tasted. I remember that one as extrovert, extravagant, creamy and intensely mineral.
This bottle showed compact, reticent and juvenile. Beautiful wine, for sure, with plenty of life in it. But not the close to perfection experience I had a while ago. — 3 months ago

Interesting that when I had this a few years ago, it was much drier and a bit more uni dimensional. Now it is quite fleshy with a wonderful, thick texture and the residual sugar is more pronounced. This is old school full-bodied, mineral driven Kabinett with a cork enclosure. Delicious. — 3 years ago
