Hartford Court

Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2018

So impressed with this $23 bottle. Drinks like $60, easily. Lovely aroma of soft caramel leads into baked apples on the mid palate. Nice ripe structure and acidity suggest this will continue as is for a few more years, but why wait? — 16 days ago

Court of Master Sommeliers 25th Annviersary Riesling 1999

At 24 years of age this is youthful and vital with a rich ridge of stone fruit braced by range citrus acid and a lingering, slightly mineral finish. Delightful. — 2 years ago

Warrior Princess Block Zena Crown Vineyard Oregon Pinot Noir 2022

2022 vintage. Tight. Medium-heavy body and polished as is the Hartford Court style. Needs a decade or 6-8 hours in a decanter to lighten up, Francis. 01.09.25. — 3 days ago

Old Vine Russian River Valley Zinfandel 2021

Nice notes on the nose, definitely appreciating Napa, with a little bite on the front end. Smooth and just enough juice on the back end. Might make a hood home cooking wine. . — 7 months ago

La Court Barbera d'Asti Superiore

v10. Lucky me, I don’t know why I still have a v10, but it is fantastic. I will take a chance and call it “ at peak”. Cork came out clean. Solid purple color. Soft, pleasing bacon nose. Bright cherry, and dark black cherry fruit medley. Smooth, slightly tart, but round, zippy, mocha finish. Nicely balanced. Would not share ! — 9 months ago
