Very nicely aged Cali Chard that balances new world fruit with old world leanness
Jun 5th, 2026Good new world Chardonnay with decent amount of aging. Nice golden color at this age. White fruits, stones and that buttery creamy oaky notes carrying through to palate but very balanced with complexity and minerality coming forth in the finish. A sense of luxuriousness but not gawky and over gilded. Prime example of what California can do for this versatile grape. Easily bested the others (Nymers etc) AA 14 excellent value 495 cases. Single block within Durell Vineyard in Sonoma.
