Made in Qvevri Dry Unfiltered Saperavi Khashmi 2017

Super tannic, deeply dark. Very interesting, but could use more expression of fruit to break through. — 13 days ago

Tasted great after 2 days open, good balance, tannins were softened a bit.

Funky. Kind of like a southern Rhone gsm but with a little more wet earth kind of feature. I definitely would buy this again. — a month ago

Kindzmarauli Semi-Sweet Saperavi 2016

May favorite Georgian wine to date. Less fruity, very dry like an excellent Cabernet. I was recommended the 2016 — 16 days ago

Dry Red SB Tavkveri 2017

Maybe my favorite Georgian red so far. Very small production... the winemaker hand writes the vintage on each bottle. Unlike the inky saperavis I’ve tried, this tavkveri is redolent with dried cherries and stewed prunes, spices a whiff of cocoa and some slate- but the palate is lively, lithe, tart and delectably tannic. Ruby in the glass. Really wonderful. — 13 days ago

Otskhanuri Sapere Special Collection Red Dry 2015

Very nice wine, more like a Pinot Noire. Lighter in color and a little pepper flavor. Very smooth and enjoyable after breathing — 23 days ago

Kakheti Dry Cabernet Saperavi

A Cab blend (50/50) from Georgia (Russian) nicely done. Not high in tannins - unusual fragrance at first. Could that be the Saperavi? A unique but pleasing experience. November 2019. — a month ago
