Located in Maillet, on good terroirs of Pomerol appellation, purchased around 1920 by Hermine and Joseph Dupuy. Since 1978 the two grandsons of the estate's founders, Jean-Daniel and Michel Rolland, run the estate. Ruby with garnet edges. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Dark berry aromas and spice. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors with toasty herb spice, fine tannins, full body on long finish ending with developing fruit, oak and spice. We continue to discover Swiss wines on the spot .. Pleasant surprise with this beautiful Syrah. Very close to a Croze-Hermitage in design: Crunchy fresh black fruit, violet, licorice, herbaceous touch of mint and parsley, which makes this wine perfect on pasta-garlic-chili served with fresh arugula! Oaky tip well melted. Balance between freshness and density (medium). The honorable finish of duration .. this bottle at a reasonable price can certainly age favorably for two or three years minimum.
On continue de découvrir les vins suisses sur place.. Agréable surprise avec cette belle Syrah. Très proche d’un Croze-Hermitage dans la conception : Fruit noirs frais croquant, réglisse , violette, touche herbacée mentholée persillée, qui rend se vin parfait sur des pasta-ail-piment servi avec de la roquette fraîche! Pointe boisée bien fondue. Équilibre entre fraîcheur et densité (moyenne). La finale honorable de durée.. cette bouteille au prix raisonnable pourra certainement vieillir favorablement deux, trois ans minimum. — 4 years ago

Cornalin grape: first!Dark purple color, brilliant. Nose not too marked by aging. Black fruits with a beautiful aromatic density also aromas of flowers. The mouth is semi-full-bodied, recalling by its structure and its freshness Syrah/Grenache, by its earthy side the Cabernet-Franc: black fruits, freshness, liquorice, roasting, chocolate ... A rich aromatic range which suggests a beautiful aging capacity. Another nice bottle of Chamoson in AOC Valais 🇨🇭

Nez pas trop marqué par l’élevage. Sur les fruits noirs avec une belle densité aromatique également des arômes de fleurs. La bouche est semi-corsée, rappelant par sa structure et sa fraîcheur une syrah ou Grenache, par son côté terreux le Cabernet-Franc: fruits noirs, fraîcheurs, réglisse, torréfaction, chocolat... Une gamme aromatique riche qui laisse présager une belle capacité de vieillissement. Encore une belle bouteille de Chamoson dans l’AOC Valais 🇨🇭 — 4 years ago
From all of the stunning 2017 Cru Beaujolais, this wine along with Daniel Bouland’s Delys have been the most vivid textural wines that I can recall from the vintage. This wine improved on day 2 and day 3, and day 4 still held plenty of charm suggesting a splendid life ahead. Great stuff. — 5 years ago
