Deep enticing golden color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits and nutty spice, aged for 12 months in steel tanks. On the palate of this Verdicchio, flavors of apple, pineapple and pear with floral citrus notes. Medium+ finish ending with toasty nutty character. Nice value! — 4 years ago
This medium-dry, tannic, not-too-acidic Sav Blanc was aged in steel. Nose of honeysuckle, pear, lychee; flavors feature more tart fruit than citrus. — 5 years ago
Very good bottle of wine for the $$. — 6 years ago
All on stainless steel, nice acidity/minerality. — 7 years ago
My first Falanghina and I absolutely adore this bottle.
Aromatic nose of peach, pineapple, start fruits, fresh herbs, and orange blossom. Elegant medium body with lovely round acidity and smooth texture. The palate is clean, fresh with mineral undertone yet has the feel of richness. Very impressive.

Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruits. Made from 40-year old vines, aged in 100% stainless steel. On the palate flavors of bright lemon citrus with crisp apple and peach notes. This medium-body wine has crisp acidity, good balance and nice mouthfeel, smooth long finish ending with creamy mineral texture. Very Nice! — 5 years ago
Now, this is a Champagne worthy of my last year in my current decade.
It’s not inexpensive but, there’s a reason for that.
From the moment I put my nose to the glass, I got a a sense of warm, inviting delicacy. There is; cream, soft ginger, fall green apples, mango, guava, slightly sour lemons, lime zest/candy, perfectly, ripe pineapple, white peach, green melons, lightly bruised pear, marmalade jam, as soft as white spice can be, grey volcanics, good chalkiness, vanillin, sea spray, lovely, melted caramel notes, yeast, bread dough to baguette crust, non funky cheese rind, toast, silvered almonds to nut skin with white & lilies, jasmine and spring flowers.
The palate enters like Tango dancers & cross-fades into ballet. Perfect richness, mousse & micro-oxygenation with gentle, absolute, perfect acidity. The minerality is fine, delicate & straight up in my wheelhouse. Cream, understated, melted butter, ginger, fall, Granny Smith apples, mango, guava, slightly sour lemons, lime zest/ peel/candy, perfectly, ripe pineapple, white peach, peach, tangerine, green melons, lightly bruised pear, some apple cider, marmalade jam, honeysuckle, herbaceousiness, a shade of mint, as soft as white spice can be, delicate, grey volcanics with limestone, good chalkiness, vanillin, sea spray, lovely, melted caramel notes, yeast, bread dough to baguette crust, non funky cheese rind, toast, silvered almonds to nut skin with, orange blossoms, white & lilies, jasmine and spring flowers. The long, amazing, well balanced finish is simply Mozart.
The 02 is a blend of 39% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay & 21% Pinot Meunier. This bottle spent at least 12 years in Krug's cellars, receiving its cork in autumn 2014.

Joyful perfumed deep ruby rosato. Mountain flowers, lava rock, cherries, saltwater taffy, blood orange. From 80+ year old vines at high elevations, using native yeasts and long aging in stainless steel tanks. Valcerasa wines are as breathtaking as Etna itself. — 7 years ago

A treat to have 2 of Australia’s leading whites as in the Art Series Chardonnay and now the Lovedale Semillon both from 2011. Ironically 2011 was an awful vintage in nearly all of Australia except for Margaret River and the Hunter Valley. This highly awarded old Semillon had aromas of Lanolin, buttered toast with wet straw. All the descriptors of quality aged Semillon. A sweetish palate with a soapy texture. Perfectly balanced with acid diminishing. You can see how UK MWs would swear in the earlier days that these Semillons had been put to wood. They know now that they only ever see stainless steel. — 4 years ago
Classy 2017 Anjou Blanc by Loire legend Thibaud Boudignon crafted from 100% Chenin grown in grey schist and volcanic soils in Anjou (his centuries old cellar and most of this vineyards are located in Savennières). Fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and aged in 300 and 750-liter barrels (30% new) for 15-18 months. Green apples, citrus, marked minerality, almost unnoticeable oak. Clean, precise, structured, marked minerality, great depth and length. This is Loire Valley Chenin at its finest — 6 years ago
Really fresh, yeasty, with steel, lemons and good definition. A lot of promise. Young — 7 years ago
May be time for me to explore the Dinger Lakes, as I enjoyed this so much. Super high acid on this, tart and vaguely tropical, right and dry and puckering even. But crisp, v light, drinkable and refreshing. Replace your Sauv Blanc with this on a hot day. — 7 years ago

Wonderful green apples and citrus with only a very slight hint of butter. Love this Chard! — 3 months ago
