Grapefruit, flint, grassy herbs, Meyer lemon, and hints of chalk. Drinks very easily without being boring. Refreshing with a delicate, but tasty finish. Great for these 110 F Phoenix summers. — 4 years ago
Improves on warming above 53 F. Reminded me of Meyer lemon. Will buy again. Surdyk's $17 10/16 — 7 years ago

Tremendous bottle. Nose has massive mineral stank with meyer lemon and so many oyster shells. So saline. Deep and enveloping. The Chablis symphony in full effect. Stunning. Young a f on the palate but oh so promising. Perfect balance and terrific tension. Finish is clipped for now but this will grow with air. Luscious finish that is juicy, explosive and so textured. Lovely focus, linearity and hierarchy of flavors. I’ll be back as this airs. Amazing acid structure here. — 2 years ago
Medium gold; medium intensity aromas of yellow apple, yellow plum, Meyer lemon, hazelnut, acacia, brioche; dry, sky high acid, low alcohol, full bodied, medium plus intensity flavors of yellow apple, yellow plum, lemon curd, toasted hazelnut, intense brioche; long finish, rich full flavors; great pairing with Popeyes fried chicken 😜 — 5 years ago
OMG what a nose . Heaven. Floral and ripe and so pretty. Like pretty when you see a woman so gorgeous that you just can’t muster up any words. Striking. Unreal lemon and lime. Meyer lemon. But omg the florality. Beautiful discreet oak. Framed so perfectly. Like a filmmaker framing a shot. This nose is 9.9. It’s that easy and that good. Wow. That is concentrated and so deep. Candied and elegant with a superb core of sweet fruit and sweet wood. Impeccable balance. Superb intense and scintillating minerality. More mineral than 18. About as mineral as 19. As this airs the harmony of the nose becomes greater and greater. Wow this is dense and intense. For a wine that is this structured it is graceful a f. — 2 years ago
Holy F!! This was just firing on every single cylinder. Bright red and black fruits that are so ripe and delicious. Balsamic reduction, bacon, tar, iron, earthy goodness and a silky baby bottom smooth finish. A real wow wine. Co WOTN for me. Crickey!! @Michael Meyer this was a treat. — 5 years ago
Yes @Théo Cauchois this is f*cking stable. And delicious. And complex. And dense. And it was infected by noble rot too. Damn! Pass the Comté... — 9 years ago

2024/1 with garbure. Starts off quite dark and a bit inexpressive, with dense tannin, some oak and a twist of bitterness - but a couple of days later it really opened to reveal some lovely dark fruit, underbrush and a hint of game. — 3 months ago
