2018. Sommelier was pouring two very different wines with their Vermont Quail, kale, butternut squash, cranberry, and hot honey. My daughter and I split our pours because she really liked the J.J. Prüm Spätlese we had last week and she loved this one too. — 3 years ago

Vintage 2020 | Flint, strawberry, sweet plum. This wine has the swallow-factor, beautiful concentration, soft first impression, elegance. Definitely: like! Very balanced wine. Winefriend @Berry Marinussen gave a big compliment, the wine made him think of Burgundy - “I would not recognize this wine as German spätburgunder” — a year ago
Citrus, minerality. Great acidity that balances the RS. Delicious. — a year ago
Rose… like J.J. used to say: Dyn-O-Mite! — 3 years ago

So earthy! I smell red cherry tree sap or bark, candy cap mushroom.
Surprisingly austere and tannic fine tannins light in the mouth, but it's also comforting in a similar way that good scotch is comforting after it goes down. — 6 months ago
