Personally i found this the great surprise of the line up.
Mainly Bovale finished off with some cannonau and carignan.
9 months of new barrique which the wine digests incredibly well.
Nice fruit, but the floral that the Bovale gives to the wine truly fascinates me and keeps me interested during every sip. Spices too plus leather and tobacco.
Tannin that will get smoother, but is already enjoyable.
Long finish
Serious alternative for cabernet drinkers
It is not the Turriga, but honestly i did not remember its beauty. Very elegant — 5 months ago
What a lovely wine! The nose is a bit deceiving of what is coming upon the first sip and it just keeps getting better! Extremely smooth and the full flavors seem to be delayed and then just swell at the back of the throat and on the tongue. This is Tuscan wine that is truly “super Tucsan”! No wonder it has a solid 93 points across the board! — a month ago

After tasting the whole range from Argiolas you also realise how they got to this blend.
This is stunning, it absorbed 18 months of new oak easy.
Cannonau gives the freshness and the fruit with the carignan, the bovale donates the tannin and the floral shade and Malvasia Nera the aromatic.
Super velvety, fresh, complex and above all long.
It goes without saying this is only a baby. — 5 months ago

Not quite as much of the pure cherry of Tuscan Sangiovese, but you can taste it. Would I have known it was Sangiovese blind? Maybe. Little more bulk and backbone, less soft than a Chianti Classico. Very nice, though. I’d get it again — 19 days ago
