@Ceccherini Cristiano good to hear. I’ve not had much luck with Capichera (apart from the lower end ones, which are solid but not a great value imo) despite its reputation.

@Chris MacLean i agree it is expensive. The Lintori is good bit still not cheap.
I am lucky i get to taste this labels rather often cause i have it in my portfolio 😅

After tasting the whole range from Argiolas you also realise how they got to this blend.
This is stunning, it absorbed 18 months of new oak easy.
Cannonau gives the freshness and the fruit with the carignan, the bovale donates the tannin and the floral shade and Malvasia Nera the aromatic.

Super velvety, fresh, complex and above all long.

Cannot go wrong with 2018 vintage on most central Tuscan wines and this isn’t an exception. A nice, inexpensive, appealing and approachable Sangiovese driven with a gentle tannins, bright orange acidity, juicy cranberry, ripe red cherries and spice and subtle touch of oak. Personally i found this the great surprise of the line up.
Mainly Bovale finished off with some cannonau and carignan.
9 months of new barrique which the wine digests incredibly well.
Nice fruit, but the floral that the Bovale gives to the wine truly fascinates me and keeps me interested during every sip. Spices too plus leather and tobacco.
Tannin that will get smoother, but is already enjoyable.
Long finish
Serious alternative for cabernet drinkers
It is not the Turriga, but honestly i did not remember its beauty. Very elegant — 3 months ago
