C.A.I. Riesling 2013

2013. My last bottle. Petrol aromas blow off and reveal tropical fruits. High acid and a little residual sweetness. — a month ago

Very good, but not life changing. After blowing up a hillside with dynamite, one might hope for better results... 😁 — 6 months ago

Enkircher Riesling 2011

Bone dry to dry. Pronounced minerality, slight tropical fruit, malic structuring acidity. Prominent petroleum quality on the finish. Awesome. — 8 months ago

Zeppwingert Mosel-Saar-Ruwer Riesling 2013

What a bottle - full of spices, very broad and probably spatlese equivalent but all held together and focused with a mineral and acid spine. — a month ago

Apple at first, opens to brioche and caramel flavors, keeps the acidity throughout. — 4 months ago

Racy citrus and bone bone bone dry. A fun pull but little too stiff for my personal enjoyment. Tight texture and fine bubble structure. — 5 months ago

Sharp yet not unpleasant. But a little dosage would have gone a long way here.

Really tasty thanksgiving morning sparkling! Dry, with strong rubber notes associated with Riesling. Would drink again. — 2 months ago

Cork was shot and I had not expected much but alas there is still some life left. I am guessing the fridge knocked away any semblance of smell or taste to this wine. As it warms butterscotch becomes more present. Beautiful golden yellow in color. A nice warmup to inlaws coming over for dinner — 5 months ago
