Immich-Batterieberg

Detonation Riesling

Nicely balanced, easy drinking, not oversweeet, minerals and fruit on the nose (no detectable petrol, alas), a fine food wine to pair with Asian and spicy dishes. Enjoyed the 2022 vintage with Dreama at Night + Market Sahm in Venice, CA. We will be in Venice, Italy in mere days! — a month ago

Batterieberg Reserve Riesling Große Lage 2020

Bombastic wine...nose just pure heavy Riesling. Wood and dark tropical fruit flavours. In 2-5 years this wine will be a Phenom!! Paired excellently with steak, salad and lots of sun 😎 — a year ago

C.A.I. Kabinett Trocken Riesling

Really nice! Apricot, lemon, slate, beeswax. It’s much harder for me to pick out notes from whites so I consulted Wine Folly. This is fairly dry, with just a twinge of juice. Great with chicken dinner or just to have while writing a paper for grad school 😉. — 4 years ago

Enkircher Zeppwingert Brut Nature - Zero Dosage Riesling

@Delectable Wine this is not the Zero dosage.

Pop and pour yesterday. On the nose: lime, soft peach, soft leesy notes, crushed stone. On the palate: fantastic acidity, a hint of sweetness, loads of peach and crushed stone, some blood orange. Everything is lifted by the soft fizz. Better on day 2. I bet the zero dosage version will need more time, but this is fantastic right now.
