A really good weeknight wine. Nose is animated, with lots of dark cherry and warm brick minerality. Round and directly fruity in the mouth, bone dry, with a finish that turns a bit savory. Probably a little young. I wasn't blown away, but it's a pleasant, balanced fruit and barely noticeable tannins. Would imagine it'd be better cellared. HT Emirates lounge CPT for letting me taste it rather than buying a bottle at Makro! 😉 — 9 years ago

This wine is a high school kid who's a consensus number 1 draft pick. So young, raw, and talented. I like my Gamay young but this needs at least two years. Deep, richly extracted crunchy Gamay fruit and freshly cracked stones in the nose. In the mouth it's an MMA fight between tangy, crunchy, incredibly deep fruit, mouth-watering acids, and minerals. Long long saliva inducing finish. Great right now for its raw materials, but I really shouldn't have opened this until 2018 at least.

Nose has loads of citrus pith, green apple, green herb, and pungent crushed rock. It the mouth it’s bone dry, very minerally and refreshing. A slight bitterness emerges in the finish.
