Ana Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011

This Pinot noir changed my mind about both Pinot noirs and Oregon wines. My first impression was that it was bolder than most Pinot noirs, but it has a nice medium finish. — 2 months ago

Holloran Eola-Amity Hills Tempranillo 2015

Drank this at Vino Veritas with John King and Emma on 11/12/18. Not as tannin-y as most Tempranillo wines. Very good! — 2 years ago

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2015

Slight space and licorice with Berry notes on first opening. Was very good chilled. After several hours softer but still refreshing, light to medium body. Would buy again — 3 months ago

Eola - Amity Hills Riesling 2013

Last bottle, tasting one year since last pour. Pale yellow with golden tinge, excellent clarity. Sulfur and tropical fruit aroma. Semi-dry, soft, slight spritz on finish. Floral, peach and tropical fruit (guava) flavors, bright crisp acidity, excellent with food. Aging well, solid choice. Minor skin astringency in finish, aftertaste. — 2 years ago

Dundee Hills Riesling 2017

Delicious! I absolutely love this wine and the people at Holloran! Visit this tasting room if you’re in the area! This Riesling is refreshing and dry, with tropical fruit notes, and a bit of delicious minerality to it. — 5 months ago

Le Pavillion Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014

My kind of wine, drank beautifully! — a year ago

La Chenaie Vineyard Tempranillo 2014

Retasting eight months later, my last bottle. Ruby red, very good clarity. Black currant and red berry fruit leather notes in nose. Blackberry and cherry flavors initially. Mild skin astringency in finish, with white pepper emerging after 15 minutes. Black currant, plum, mint and a touch of cola and earthiness emerge an hour after opening. Complex flavor profile. Chewy tannins too emerge, so best decant a couple of hours. A little more acidic brightness wouldn’t hurt though. Maybe Tempranillo can be a Pacific Northwest thing... — a year ago
