Tart Cherry, raspberry. Hibiscus. Medium-light body. Elegant and complex and easy to drink the whole bottle. Medium-low alcohol. — 4 years ago
Touches of wet stone, hibiscus, floral but not fruity. Richer than expected and ultimately perfect for a shellfish meal. — a year ago
On this Saturday night I have opened the 2018 Joseph Drouhin Côte de Nuits-Villages.
On the nose there is cherry, strawberry, cranberry, cinnamon, slight smokiness and underbrush.
On the palate I am getting notes of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, hibiscus, mushroom, vanilla and earthiness.
This wine is medium to full bodied with medium + acidity and medium + firm fine frained tannins with a long red fruit tannic finish. I hope your weekend is a good one and that everyone is healthy and safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 years ago
Insanely good! This shows why they are one of the best sour beer makers. Nose of funky flowers and palate is just so enjoyable. There’s citrus, hibiscus, cream, and tons of sour fruit. Just wonderful. — 3 years ago
Hibiscus, strawberry, cherry, leather smell, cherry and leather and some green coffee with a little toffee, acid is fresh and amazingly balanced with a slight tannin at the end — 4 years ago

This is the G.D. Vajra Rosa Bella (2023). It was made from mostly Nebbiolo grapes and, to a lesser extent, Dolcetto and Barera.
It has a beautiful combination of freshness and vivacity with bright red-berried, hibiscus, watermelon rind, and oyster shell characteristics. It’s crisp and delicious with medium alcohol (13.5% ABV) and bright acidity.
The winemaker’s tasting notes refer to a “sapidity” in this wine, which is defined as “a pleasant flavor,” but I have now learned that in winespeak this means a pleasing saline, mineral, and savory quality, which is absolutely evident in this glass. — a day ago
