Domaine Romaneaux-Destezet (Hervé Souhaut)

Saint Joseph Marsanne Roussanne

Tasty, light but minerally Roussane-Vigonier blend. Great with a mix of seafood dishes at Dame in the W Village. Good acidity and citrus notes. — 23 days ago

Les Tuvilains Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Nose: cherry y flower and white flower. Pink roses. So elegant. So fleeting. So old school. Sweet pink roses as this opens.

Palate: so old school. Silky. Ephemeral early season cherries. Sweet but in a very silly and not obvious way.

Herve you rot was quite a winemaker. What a fucking waste.

Le Clos Duc Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits Pinot Noir 2011

Elegant Pinot Noir still lively 13 years after vintage. Restrained fruit and cherry nose. Excellent Burgundy for under $35. — 3 months ago

Domaine Hervé Azo

Petit Chablis Chardonnay 2022

Nothing petit about it. Very bold expression of the ripe vintage, great texture, grip, and a very good bitter almond skin note. — a month ago

Domaine du Clos des Fées (Hervé Bizeul)

Le Clos des Fées Grenache Blend 2013

Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing black plums, cooked cherries, spices, light oak, licorice, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, herbs and light black pepper.

Medium minus on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime.

Interesting and easy drinking. Not too fruit forward and good by itself or with food.

On the way out, so drink up.

A blend of 50% Syrah, 20% Carignan, 20% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre.

15% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$55.
