Wow...we are US citizens living abroad and have struggled to find Swiss red wines that deliver! This one is spectacular. Fresh, fruity, dry, medium-bodied...will try to find this one by the case! — 8 years ago
This is a fine Swiss Pinot Noir from Markus Ruch, an acclaimed producer one hour north of Zurich. Medium ruby, the nose exhibits delicate aromas of red cherry, red plum, very subtle wood smoke and a green, herbal note. Medium-bodied, the wine delivers good concentration, slightly chalky tannins and a clean finish. Drink from 2024 until 2030. — 2 years ago

Love this one from Schaffhausen. Distinct dried strawberry, a little effervescent, subtly floral. Mit rösti und Schabziger in the Alps. Doesn’t get more Swiss than this! — 2 years ago
nice and funky, tannins, fruity, acidic — 2 years ago
First Swiss Pinot Noir I’ve had. It’s easy drinking - cherry cola, dried roses, slight earthiness. Nice — 4 years ago

There is a bit of age on this interesting white swiss blend. It's a Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer and Müller-Thurgau blend.
The nose is a bit shy and a tiny bit oxydative. White flowers, peach, lemon and almost a salty, maritime breeze to it as well as a beautiful chalk note. The palate is not showing a great acid drive, but loads of width, weight, texture and fruit and minerality. There is a bit of a tangy, acid thing in the end, but the mid palate is not to be defined by its acid drive, but much more by its layers of texture and fruit (lemon juice, white pear). It's a very good, almost aristocratic wine. Great stuff! — 7 months ago
