On the nose: jumping from the glass is ripe dark fruit, currants, mint, floral, wet forest floor, truffles, and some roasted meat. Taste: smooth, soft, silky, seductive wine with plum/cherry, earth, cedar, minerals, and a medium plus smokey spiced chocolate finish. YUM! — 10 months ago

A wonderful bottle of 100% Syrah out of the South Okanagan Valley in BC. This is a flagship wine and vintage for Le Vieux Pin. A bold wine, yet supple tannins and an extremely smooth mouth feel.
