Superb showing, mamy years ahead of it but the Viallière tannin has softened considerably. Rich and dense as expected given the vintage yet very regal and elegantly textured. Soaked black cherry and plum, hung meat, cracked pepper, leather, wilted violet, juniper and mint, pastille and damp earth. Lovely iron and woodsy notes accompanying.
