Greco Bianco

Collio Pinot Bianco 2019

Beautiful full deep medium gold… surprising for such a young white wine. Enticing bright aroma of spring flowers and juicy dripping ripe orchard fruit. Every once in a while you run into a wine that just knocks you back a step.. this is such a wine. Rich, ripe, round, weighted, serious, lip-smacking good, complex, alive, smile-inducing, with a finish that makes you want to pour a glass for everyone you know. We consumed this wine with extremely well-made takeout Indian… Tikka Chicken, warm spicy Chana, and downright hot Lamb Vindaloo… this elixir stood up to the hodge-lodge and made it better. I need to buy this wine by the case. — 19 hours ago

Superiore Barbera d'Alba 2016

Check previous review.
On a collllddd night this was the perfect partner for linguine ala carbonara.
Big, 15° Also big dark cherries, a medicinal quality with big tar on the nose. Bright acids, grippy too, not overtly. A joy to drink. This one just keeps better.

Ograde Carso Bianco Vitovska Blend

Horizontal tasting at home. Man U West Ham.

Sweet, honey nose. Deep orange. Medium body. Lively.

“Taking its name from the Slovenian word for "fences" the Skerk 2017 Ograde draws its fruit from hills that lie along the old Iron Curtain, roughly 230 meters in altitude. A blend of Vitovska, Malvasia, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio, this is an outright orange wine that shines in the glass with copper and amber intensity. It delivers a unique bouquet with elements of candied fruit and caramel, alongside softer shadings of beeswax, apricot confit and even a distant touch of crushed stone, button mushroom and rosemary essence. In all, this hot-vintage rendition certainly shows a sweeter, voluptuous mouthfeel and phenolic padding that is extra rich. There is some dusty, tannic dryness on the close.” RP94, 2017

Le Coste

Bianco de Coccio 2019

A month of skin contact and a year in amphora
Mainly Procanico which is a typical variety of the Northern Lazio
The result is muscular, little tannic, with a mix of stone fruits and a remarkable mineral that gives a bonus to this very enjoyable orange wine.
As per many other macerated it showed better when a bit warmer.
Long aftertaste
I was very pleased with this bottle

Casamatta Bianco Toscana Vermentino 2018

Bibi Graetz ‘Casamatta’ Toscana Bianco 2018: Medium-body. Medium acidity. Vibrant floral & tropical fruit aromas with fresh, green fruit flavors (lime, pear & apple) & nice minerality. The finish was bright & clean. Consisting of 60% Vermentino, 30% Trebbiano & 10% Moscato Bianco, this wine transported me to the Tuscan coast with each mouth-satisfying sip. Cheers🍷 — 23 days ago

Anas-Cëtta Langhe Bianco Nascetta di Novello 2019

One of my favorite Piemonte whites. Bolder than Arneis, without the bitter finish. With cheese, the lightest caramel note can come through. Changes over time in the glass. — a month ago
