Incredible! Beautiful brick color. Nose is floral, rose petals and lavender with the softest honey and basil notes. A soft earthy funk punctuates the brightness. The mouth is sharp strawberries, lemon zest and long lingering cardamom spice. You can taste the sense of place in this bottle. A work of art. — 10 days ago
So different. Ash and olive really come through on this vintage. Striking when it first hits the tongue, lingers a bit but mellows nicely as you drink. — 4 months ago
Perhaps the best Coda di Volpe i've ever had
60yo vines, 4 days maceration and 30% of the mass fermented in chestnut barriques; after that 12 months in stainless steel.
Wine that truly is alive
It feels like still fermenting(but it's not)
It makes me picture kimchi, ginger and daikon
It has this tingling fruit and a mineral tension
Background of honey and gunpowder plus a decoration of spring flowers
It goes without saying how highly i consider Cantina Giardino, the barrels they use are all crafted by a local artisan with local woods among chestnuts(like in this case), cherry, figs or others that might slip out of my mind at present.
This is a wine made of beauty with no make up.
It's long and refreshing and super enjoyable. — 4 months ago
Super funky. Bright, almost unripe apricot. Smooth tingly finish. — 2 months ago

Very very good. Not funky despite the floaty bois — 4 months ago
Great orange producer. Would be more of this and also like the “Na” — 5 months ago
Had this for $23? At Al Giardino in Taormina Sicily. A bargain and a different blend. We thought it was great for the price/value consideration. Dark berries and plum. A bit of leather with the tannins just fine. You can pick apart the two grapes in the blend. — 2 months ago
She’s a weird lady in all the right ways. — 4 months ago
Really tasty white with a light body and a quick finish. This wine oddly tastes like banana cream pie and I’m here for it. — 4 months ago
