Finishing a bottle with spicy egg rolls. Very nice combination — 4 months ago
Decanted for 90min prior to service. The 2013 pours, a deep ruby color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity, with light staining of the tears. Small signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart, mostly dark with some red forest fruit: blackberries, black currants, rotting strawberries, a fresh package of red rope licorice, purple flowers, old pennies, and dry, rocky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin(+?) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. I think this is my first time enjoying a wine made with Tazzelenghe and, if I can help it, will not be my last. Drink now. — a month ago

Solid Barbera. Good at pop and pour and two days later. Pleasant nose with raspberry and spice. Medium bodied with raspberry strawberry some cherry undergrowth some leather and pepper. Finish is medium length with tip of tongue dryness. — 6 months ago

Amazing, tasted at the winery, shipping some to our cellar. The 2020 is drinkable next year and will be perfect 2030-2045 — 4 months ago

Very delicate and balanced rosso. Drinks well now but could benefit from a year or two cellaring. Very fine tannins. Blood orange and slate, highly perfumed. Delicious from a top producer. — 3 days ago
