Pale straw yellow. No oxidation at all. Pear apple and lychee on the nose. Butterscotch vanilla and delicate spice on the palate. Thanks to Fred for rescuing and taking on the final stage of this project. A lovely wine which I wish had bought a case. — a month ago

Inky purple without the slightest hint of oxidation. Subdued nose despite the rich ripe fruitiness on the palate. No cooked fruit just gobs of blackberry and black raspberry. One of my favorite sins from Ridge and the 2914 is drinking near its peak. — 5 months ago
Deep purple with a hint of brick. Cassis and leather and meat in the nose. Pencil graphite cassis violet and a little tar. Rich jammy black fruit. Delicious. Serving with Prime grade rib roast. Sorry to have only one bottle — a month ago
Awesome wine. Held up very well beyond expectations. Poured from a jeraboam (double magnum. Tons of black fruit, understated tannins and alcohol. Served with turkey on big green egg smoked with cherry and pecan. Perfectly paired with a Geyserville!

Crystal clear garnet color. Subdued fruity and leathery nose. Gorgeous red raspberry and fig on the palate with a touch of tannins. Supple and long finish. Drinking with wood grill sirloin. Damn fine Grenache. Drink now or hold another couple years. — 4 months ago
Deep nearly opaque purple. Earthy and meaty nose. Soft tannins and jammy but balanced ripeness. Superb example of this iconic Chateauneuf de Pape — a month ago
Inky purple nearly opaque. Drinking last glass after opening several days ago. Subdued nose of alcohol and jam. Tannins are present but not mouth-searing. Jammy blackberries and hint of blueberries. Some spice and leather. Love this wine. Enjoying with lamb chops. Hold or drink. — 2 months ago
Inky purple nearly opaque. Jammy fruitiness on the nose. Ripe black fruits leather supple but structured tannins. As others have noted, this wine will continue to evolve in complexity and shed its youthful innocence in 5-8 years or more. — 4 months ago
