BANG. Found my Paris wine store — Mi Fugue Mi Raisin. Let’s listen to baroque and paint watercolor and drink the shit out of this wine. — 7 years ago
Just loved this textural aromatic blend of savagnin, traminer & Petit Manseng. Really good — 8 years ago
Love this for summer drinking. — 10 years ago
I keep coming back to this one. Had it with a spicy chicken and broccoli stir-fry while listening to a live recording of Radu Lupu playing a Bach prelude & fugue (BWV 867). Each made the others more enjoyable. — 6 months ago
Slightly effervescent. Sharp, acidic, fresh, bright. From Mi Fugue Mi Raisin (1 of 7) — 7 years ago
A true cab! I was impressed with the complexity of the finish. Very dramatic. Lots of fruit, solid tannins and great mouthfeel. If this were music, I'd describe it as having robust highs, mids and lows. It's the Tocatta and Fugue of reasonably priced cabs. Worth your consideration. — 9 years ago
1997 vintage. A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc. The most humble of the Domaines Delon stable ( Léoville Las Cases, Clos du Marquis, Nénin) is showing incredibly well at 27 years old. Showing its age more in the nose than in the taste, but actually improving with decanting ( thanks broken cork!). Still good fruit, with refreshing acidity and a good grip of soft tannin. Very good length too. Still worth seeking out from a well-stored bottle. — 2 years ago
Deep ruby color with brick rim. Well developed wine with vibrant rich aromas of fruits, wood, trufel, spices and tertiary notes: gouache color. Invisible tannins. Elegant, balanced complex wine. Château Nenin is considered one of the better wines in Pomerol. Estate belongs to Delon since 1997 (owns Château Potensac & 2nd growth Château Leoville-Las Cases). 32 ha vineyard: Merlot 78%, CabFr 21%, CabS 1%. Château Nénin is the epitome of a great Pomerol "vin de garde" (wine for laying down). Rating 4,3/5 — 8 years ago
Escapade 2014 - France Gonzalvez
