With a three hour decant still very tannic and stemmy. Probably needs another five plus years — 2 months ago
Fruit sourced from five vineyards, Brunate, Liste, Cerequio, Cannubi and Raviole. Medium Ruby red color with aromas of red fruit, earthy spices, floral and cedar. On the palate flavors of sour cherry and raspberry with notes of floral, smoky tobacco, vanilla and oak. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins, ending with an earthy character. Good now, a few bottle years will benefit! — 7 months ago
Wine 1, with rack of lamb. As my drinking history shows, Raffault is a perennial favorite. 2017 is easy access with medium weight, wild red berry fruit, tomato leaf, and earth. Drink over the next five years. Holding ‘09, ‘14, ‘15, and ‘18 with patience. — 2 days ago
Apricot, lemon zest, lychee, and shortbread. Juicy and flavorful. — 2 months ago
Smooth finish, medium bodied. would take to a dinner party. Notes of bold berries. Barrel reserve select bottle. Fun wine at a decent price for repeated consumption. — 5 months ago

Not as good as the Eye of the Falcon. Also a blend & similar price. — 2 months ago
Ruby with elegant red fruit aromas and gentle floral spice, aged for 10 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and cranberry with notes of tea, herb pepper with wet stone notes. Soft tannins on a long finish ending with fruit, spice and earthy mineral notes. Very Nice! — 8 months ago
