I opened this on Thanksgiving, and it was more tart than I remembered from previous tastings. I cloded the bottle and moved on to other wines. After sitting in my fridge for a week, it smells like prunes, black cherries, and a hint of chocolate on the nose; medium minus acidity; medium tannins; tastes like blackberry sauce and crushed gravel with a long finish. I love this wine, and Nellie likes it too. I will decant this wine for at least an hour the next time I open a bottle. It's much more impressive after a week in my fridge. — 5 months ago
Had the 2022 in January of 2024 with chicken tinga. What a nice little wine. Minerality and a touch of citrus with some floral on the nose. Hints of lime on the tongue and a hint of hibiscus on the nose. This was a lot like a New Zealand sauv blanc but with a softer punch. Enjoyed this and wondering about going through the hassle of obtaining this one again. Definitely would if it was easier to get. — a year ago
Very good blend. Frankly did not expect too much from it but I am pleasantly impressed. — 4 months ago
My first Mexican wine. Dry, dark, but light bodied. — 3 months ago
Light, crisp and clean in its own, some body to it, picked up the spice of a mole mussel bite, with increased salinity and flavor to the finish. — 4 months ago
Medium ruby in color; cassis, black plums, graphite on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like black pepper, black olives, blackberries, and a hint of eucalyptus with a long finish. — 10 months ago

Smoky!
Want a reason to try some California Sangiovese?
There ya be. As it opens the fruit just seems to erupt- and all the while the smoke just kicks back, feet up, waiting.
Just outstanding. — 14 days ago
