Full-bodied Austrian rosé at the Maine Catch in Ogunquit. — 2 years ago
Almost Riesling perfection on the nose with smokey flintiness. The palate needs ca. 5 years to catch up though with a slight acidity bringing it off course and balance. Another impressive wine from this producer. Went amazing with smoked salmon and oatcakes! — 2 years ago

Last bottle of the trip, taken to Napua at the Mauna Lani. Canary gold color, bright and cheery in the glass. Notes of citrus and kiwi, tropical fruit, wet stones, tan spice, vanilla and white acacia flowers. Rich and glycerol in the mouth, matched with serious acidity. Paired perfectly with a nice Onaga fresh catch, which turned out to be the best prepared fish dish of the trip. Young but drinking well. Aloha! — a year ago
Love it as a medium bodied white. Was served at a restaurant a touch too cold to really catch the depth of flavors. — 2 years ago
First time having a Vosne-Romanée. Reminds me of when I met the pianist Alfred Brendel. Soft spoken but so witty and insightful, you’re leaning in so you can catch every word he uttered. — a year ago
Crisp and clean, with nice flavor dominated by green apple, but not as acidic as others so the flavor leans toward the fruit … to@me, that’s a good thing … but it’s still nice and crisp. From WSJ Wines. Tasted 23 November 2022. — a year ago
Very interesting blend - didn’t know they made wine in Butte County!! — 2 years ago
Some funky smoky sulphidic nutty notes on the nose. The palate is in the leaner style - more savoury and mineral than fruit driven. A modern Australian Chardonnay showing earlier picking giving a more delicate light to medium weight palate with citric acid and good persistence. Will be visiting the Cellar Door in the Adelaide Hills at the end of the month and hopefully catch up with Delectable friend @Scott Rowe — 3 years ago

I was expecting more from this reputable producer of Chianti. The bottom line is that this is too young to be drinking now, especially for such a long living wine. The mid palate needs to fill out to catch up with the tannic finish which means the wine finishes with some astringency. Needs to rest in a cool cellar for 5 to 10 years at least. — 9 months ago
