Soft and round, a point for my palate.

I've had limited experience with first growths until now and I always was blown away by how young these first growths presented themselves (70's/80's). Most were much older than the 1996 of today, so I was pleased to see that this was so approachable. — 5 months ago

A spectacular, powerful wine. Fabulous bouquet. Dark cherries, black raspberries, and dark chocolate. Silky smooth with a satisfyingly long finish. Still has lots of cellaring potential, but pretty fabulous now. — 17 days ago

Haven’t had for awhile. So brilliant. Fresh crushed berries, plums, forest, greenery, just on the nose. Palate is similar with some dried rose mixed in. Fresh plums, cherries, so tart, jolly rancher but not quite love this wine. — 3 months ago
