Light Rioja. Easy to drink. Nice when it breathed a little — 2 years ago
Deep purple color.
Aromas of blueberry, vanilla, cocoa.
Dry. Flavors of blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, violet, peppercorn. Rich, chewy tannins. Tastes more like an Argentina Malbec.

Easy drinking red, nice taste with no acidity. — 3 years ago
Fantastic wine 52 years old. Still has red fruit tones with soft tannins and the finish is like velvet — 3 years ago

Short finish, not overly juicy. Dry fruit clean finish not velvety on the tongue. — 7 months ago
Great taste, absolutely loved it in flavors, bouquet and texture. I hope we find it again because it was a rare find! Pity I didn't look up the vintage year. — a year ago
#AgedWineTuesday
Dark ruby in color with wide brick rim.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing red currants, cherries, earth, black coffee, licorice, oak, black tea, tobacco leaf, herbs and light black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 63 year old Tempranillo from Rioja is still drinking nicely, although obviously not at its peak.
Soft and elegant with a nice mouthfeel. Nicely balanced and elegant. Tangy and interesting.
Still has enough fruits in it to last another 10 years. Not showing as much complexity as I expected, but it's always nice to try these kind of old wines.
I enjoyed it very much, all by itself.
A blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha. Aged in French oak barrels for 3 years. Recorcked by the winery a few years ago. Only 400 bottles made.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Reserva 2016. Great find at Grocery Outlet in Santa Clara for less than $7 !!!👏 — 3 years ago
Dark berries on the nose with a little vanilla, which really comes through on the palate. Medium body, soft and balanced tannins and acidity. — 8 months ago
Very dry. Sendiks. — a year ago
Interesting Rioja blend of Graciano (90%) and Tempranillo (10%). Dark ruby core with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of red cherries, rose petals, leather, mint and dusty earth. Ripe red and black cherry/currant/raspberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of dried herbs (dill), dark chocolate, black olives, coffee and minerals. Touch of vanilla on the bold and lingering finish. Fresh acidity, firm tannins and nicely balanced. Smooth texture, complex and beautifully aged. — 2 years ago
Good Tuesday wine and with some value — 2 years ago
Great! Still tastes very young. — 3 years ago
Even with 9 years of bottle age there’s still a lot of youth in this #rioja #riserva 100% #graciano. Purple/red fruit on the nose, a touch reticent. Active on the palate with lively acidity and tannins continue to build with each sip. So youthful I’m eager to try the 2001 vintage of from this producer that I bought recently. — 3 years ago

10 years of age has been good to this wine. It's got some enjoyable complexity to it. Black cherries, leather, herbs, green olives? Tannins winding down, high acidity. Wine Enthusiast says 93 points, I couldn't quite get there.
