Strawberry and cherry - concentrated flavor dry with long finish - excellent — 2 years ago
The 2019 Fiano Terre di Dora impresses with dried flowers, incense and almond paste complemented by peach and mango notes. Silky contours usher in mineral-tinged white stone fruits, zesty green citrus and exotic spice. While gorgeous already, the 2019 offers good near-potential. $19.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2021) — 3 years ago

Leather and vanilla and a hint of cardamom on the nose. Sour cherries on the front. Medium tannic structure with momentary velvet softness on the mid palate, then it transitions into a tart finish. At first I didn’t much care this wine, but it opened up and grew on me. — 6 months ago
3 grapes dry apricot and herbal character with some minerality — 2 years ago
I think this bottle was around 14 bucks, but I would gladly pay double that for it. Smells delightful. Green apples and peach on the nose. The bottle also says there's notes of fig. Crisp but delicate, I taste peach, something tropical, and toasted almond. Yummy. — 3 years ago

On the nose, there is sweet cherry to be sure... Cherry brandy... A mossy, earthy note... Savory mushroom... Yup, we're in the woods... But warm... On the palate, some more green emerges perhaps... Still extremely savory though... Buttery pastry... Cherry is incredibly concentrated... Tannin is fluffy... Medium-short finish... Reading the label, I thought this would pair well with our strong-flavored barbeque, but it paired best with our beef and barley soup appetizer... I think if you could pair with something that includes filo pastry, it would do even better... — a month ago
