Very nice Southern Rhône red from Stephane Vedeau, ex-footballer. 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah. 14.5% abv. Bold and big on flavor, but super fresh and precisely balanced. Vibrant red fruit with Mediterranean herbs. Just the right amount of tannins, and a very long finish, ending with dried berries and grass. Really sticks around. I’m surprised the overall Delectable ratings aren’t higher. This is great, and still very affordable for the quality. Paired with Byrd’s Eye View on 180g vinyl (Blue Note Tone Poet repress). — 7 months ago

My first CdP white. 60% Grenache Blanc, 30% Roussanne, 7% Bourboulenc, 3% Clairette. I don’t even know those last two grapes. But this is a tasty, unusual white blend. Floral and ripe banana nose. Delicate palate of yellow apple, minerals and a light citrus bitterness. Low acid. Refined and subtle. Very soft texture. Medium-long finish. Very good. — 4 months ago
