Viña Cubillo Crianza Rioja Tempranillo Blend 2014

Un tempranillo mezcla de rioja. este es mi tercero tempranillo desde rioja. espero sentirme un caballero. first scent was coke (cola) on the cork. hue is extremely dark. No clarity much turbidity in broad daylight. slight note of sweet cherry. much barrel and deep tannic tones of turbulence i find terrific. sour cherry on the tongue. Really dazzling deep wine brings the whole picnic and woodsy fairytale all together #tempranilloblend — 13 days ago

Les Vignerons d'Aghione

Orso Vin Orange

An Orange wine called Orso from Corsica. Orso means bear, a traditional first name used in Corsica for boys.
The wine is fresh and bitter but it's surprisingly a pleasant bitterness. It's not a wine for everybody, and not for every occasion. Today, this bitterness was a turning point...as life is not always a sweet fairytale.

Maison Arnoux & Fils

Vieux Clocher Classic Vacqueyras Red Rhone Blend

An enormous nose of white pepper, dried cherry.

Juicy! In a good old Rhône kinda way, with precise herbs de Provence, fruity interlays of dried red and blacks, pepper and lip smacking tannins. The acidity carries a rare old mountain tune.. not unlike the fairytale of New York.. by the Pogues..

Château d'Agassac

Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

2018 vintage. This fairytale Château is owned by insurance company Groupama who brought in renowned consultant Stéphane Derononcourt in 2014. Not sure about the exact blend of this vintage, probably mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and a bit of Cabernet Franc. This wine starts to shine already after 10 minutes in the glass. The perfume is very fresh (especially considering the warm vintage) and flowery. In the mouth it is very elegant, with juicy cassis, soft tannin and very good length. If you are looking for a blockbuster this is not your wine, if you fancy Margaux-like finesse it's well worth your 16 euros. Very moderate alcohol for the vintage (13 % abv.). — 4 years ago
