Another Grand Cru from my favorite Alsacian producer.
Poura yellow, I get canary melon, botrytis honey comb, passion fruit, lychee.
Just slightly off dry, the acids have a mustard like quality. (the area is surrounded by mustard fields and I swear that I can smell and/or taste mustard greens/flowers in many wines of Berckem). Follows up with roasted apple flavors, and an incredible clean but long finish.

2015 for dinner with grilled NY Steaks salt a pepper finish. Fruit on the wine complemented the fat full flavor of the beef but the harmonious touch of dried herbs and an earthiness of mouth feel came together. In a really big sensation of married flavors to hand you the real deal. Beautiful Cabernet. Great wine and flavor combination to remember. Excellent. Blood-brown body forms a xanthic head of ancient candle showing curb-snipe color and death bed neglect. Pumpkins died here ,but were reanimated by caffeine and punk rock. Cappuccino comes through in head tone and cobra manifestation. Slimy toad skin under lacing braces the snakes and wind blown sands above. Strong chicory and chocolate-coffee bean entry creamy just below the leather. Dried chile turns, with the gentle push from a licorice spider leg, into a black mushroom-cinnamon dark roast coffee bean in a cedar spoon. Black pepper peeps through almond eyes. Snare it prepare it and drain it dry.
