Mount Eden's Chardonnay grapes are harvested when slightly yellow to yellow-green and are pressed without crushing. All of the juice is barrel-fermented in new and one-year-old French Burgundy barrels, where the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged on the lees for ten months prior to bottling. The Chardonnay is then cellared for two years before being released. — 2 years ago
Clearly that awful picture was taken late into the evening. Aromas that remind you of an ocean breeze. The palate filled with citrus and fruit , so perfectly in balanced. I have no doubt it will continue to age and probably gain greater complexity. This bottle was bought on release and lived in proper storage until it’s demise. — 3 years ago
Delightful. Just my kind of Chardonnay — 2 years ago
Beautiful pale, icy yellow. Nose is like arriving to the coast. Sea breeze with light tropical fruit notes, pineapple and mango. Perfect salinity and lemon zest on the tongue. Absolutely beautiful. — 3 years ago

Nice young yellow canary color. Heavy in the glass. Tropical nose with notes of sea breeze, lemon, kiwi, white stones and tan spice. Glycerol and rich in the mouth. California like, but with nice Chablis nuances. I wonder how this will evolve over next 10 years. Maybe like 92’s? — 2 years ago
A very interesting inadvertent experiment. I left this in a styrofoam case in my garage. It was there for almost 3 months. The garage hits 90 during the day.
Any rate the wine tastes like the wine.
Go styrofoam !!!!!
Nose is ocean breeze. Lemon flower.
Palate is mineral. Hint of gods lemon soda.

Summer peak and Fino for the wine geek, while I cross my fingers for a sunny streak.
So good, so comforting, so fresh.. like a salty sea breeze that gentle brush your cheeks. Give me two fistfulls of Marcona almonds, plain white bread and a dozen boquerons and I'll be a happy camper.
12th edition of the “en Rama” unfiltered, average five year in the Solera from a year with a “particular healthy flor”.
Fresh as a daisy, intense with a good concentration, yellow bruised apples, lemon zest, chamomille and hay with plenty of iodine, bread dough, salted nuts and chalk that is dancing around. Bone dry palate where the moderate acidity is balanced by a fresh saline structure that keeps the beat and brings nerve through a dimensional mid palate and long chalky finish.

Delicious. Delicate, citrus, subtle brine, delicious with seafood, afternoon in the sun with an ocean breeze. — 8 months ago
