One of the beautiful value for money that we like to rediscover. A fairly straight syrah, "natural", the fruit is honoured with the typical notes of the grape variety in a over-vitamin version, Morocco's sun obliges. A slight woody note testifies to the beautiful mastery of winemaking and brings a distinguished touch to the whole. As often with this type of wine, you have to wait 3/5 years of ageing for the alcoholic ardour to act. 2017 just finds its equilbre, and could still win with 2 years of cellar
This is simply fantastic at this stage. Lychee and pine apple on the nose. Incredibly fresh and vibrant on the palette. Tropical fruits with a lingering zeste of lemon as aftertaste. This went through a little dormant phase a while back but only to emerge with much more complexity and pleasure. — 9 days ago
Dense, broody & chewy, with stewed blueberry & blackcurrant, a touch of cassis with a backdrop of mocha & tobacco leaf. This has some power but also surprising freshness. And the quality of tannins is great - big yet juicy & finely grained.
Great with a nice piece from the grill. — 11 days ago
Now that I am officially finished working as a RT; and have had both vaccines; my family is allowing me back in...to visit. This wine was my Christmas Gift from my brother. When I told him that I would probably wait 5 yrs. to consume; his face fell. I could tell that he was excited that I try the wine! 🤗 Of course! Although this wine is young! Mondavi! Such balance...swirling for 90 seconds. Tight but the elements for a very nice wine are standing up proudly!
I need to find another 2016..and open in 5 years! My score is low..considering potential! — 19 days ago

Vibrant deep pink. Juicy strawberry and red cherry on the nose and the medium bodied palate. Firm, mouth-watering acidity and… oh let’s cut the pretense! This is freaking great. Full of fruit, like an Anjou, but dry and refreshing. I honestly can’t think of a better all-around rosé. You like ‘em fruity? This is your wine! You like ‘em crisp? This is your wine! But a bottle and drink it now with a salade Niçoise or soft cheese or just alone as a sipper. — 21 days ago

The second wine from this Chilean producer. Big but not colossal. Nicely balanced. Medium acidity. Bordeaux style. I liked but didn’t love this...a teaser. — 10 days ago
